Mend Vauxhall Vectra 2.5 V6 25 Car Started

vauhall vectra 2.5 v6 idles at 1500 rpm?

yesterday my car started ticking over at 1500 rpm. it has not done this before. when you start it from cold it runs at around 1000 rpm and as the engine warms up so does the idle speed. it seems to settle at 1500 rpm at normal running temprature. any help please
