Mend Diplomat AAA1473 Working Flashing

Diplomat Elite Induction hob. ! plate not working flashing E4?

One rear plate on my Diplomat Elite induction hob Code AAA1473 Ser No 0805200010 is not heating up and flashing E4. Can you assist please.

My Heritage IP60 Induction hob has this problem on the large ring (front left). Started flashing E6 first of all. Would work intermittently. Now I get E4 and that one ring will not work. As this is the large ring it has had the most use but the hob hob is only a year old (just out of warranty - typical)!

Anyone have any ideas?
