Mend SONY DVP-FX820 DVD Player Sony No Play

SONY DVP-FX820 ?

My SONY DVP-FX820 will no longer play any DVD-Video discs, but will play audio cds. I've only used commercial dvd's. Bought Feb. 9, 2009. Noticed problem while connected to auto lighter power source, which had worked, and hasn't worked via wall outlet either since then.
