Mend Samsung RS21 DSNS Model Stay Lock

How can I fix my samsung RS21 DSNS?

This model has a dispenser and when my grandchildren came to stay we put the child lock on the water dispenser. We have taken the child lock off but cant get the water dispenser to work what are we doing wrong?
