hi my clio is a 2003 and the electric drivers window has broken got new regulator put it on still no joy checked fuse no joy but is getting power to everything including the switch just thinking may be it could be the switch but the switch does work the passenger side but could it still be broken also started doing last week the window was going up and down stopping when i moved the switch a couple of times it worked but then just went all together and now will just not work anybody know anything cheers
Hi I have a clio sport 03 the problem I have is drivers window will not go down if I use the switch but if I use passenger switch on the drivers side both Windows go down and I have to use passenger side to do both Windows up

I am fixing this problem on a friend's '02 Clio. Passenger window goes down but not up. Lifter motor works fine off a battery, up & down. The switch is currently off the passenger side, I have it here with me, but the driver side still works fine, he's just gone out in the car and wound his window up & down to talk to me! I do think the N/S switch has to fitted before that window will work off the drivers switch though, otherwise there is no continuity.

i have similar problem, drivers side went down and will not come back up, i changed the switch for a new one, no joy, its not the regulator cos i checked that first and it works when connected to a battery. i have just been told that the switch in the passenger door could affect the drivers side, dont know how accurate this is!
