Mend Candy gd146 Banging Noise Spin Cycle

banging noise on spin cycle?

I have a Candy gd146. When the fast spin cycle starts, there is a horrendous banging noise. I have the machind on it's side and the tub weight appears to be loose. Is this right or should I try to tighten it.....or is it something else?
