reset code for ademco microtech/accord xpc part 2?

i have previous put a question about this,i have since emailed the manager of the alarm company about this as i did a few months ago,his response this time was it will again cost £100 to reset this code he also said we dont own the system they do so they could come and remove it,NO THEY DONT OWN ITwe payed nearly £2000 for this and i have also sent him back the email he sent me a few months ago saying that i could get any alarm company to reset it as i own the system (i keep emails like that just incase)oh that seems to have changed now to they own it, oh surprise surprise he hasnt emailed me back about the the email  he read 14 08 today,he was quick emailing back when he was asking for money ,i can not belive we have been treated like this from a large proffesional alarm company,i am horified they treat people like this and i know im not the only one there are hundreds of complaints about this firm with simular things, the guy who answed my previous question saying you can get me an unlock code but i would ow him big time how much will i ow you ,do you want paying,i dont know what else to do other than get another alarm company to do it ,one more thing this manager said the only way we would do it with no charge is if we turn it into a bells only,which is where they cancel the signaling and let the owner reset,now i may be missing something here or i may be wrong but thats what i want ,i dont know i give up thanks to anyone who takes the time to read this

fantastic thanks Tom TV !! I have lived in this house for 6 yrs and forgot the code after about a month. Got it workin again thanks so much

An XPC panel has on onboard digi so cannot be removed. if you wish to crash the code downpower the system (mains and battery) repower and within 5 secs press #&* and the code will reset to 1234 and eng code of 9090 . if you want bells only disconnect the phoneline enter eng code then # * the power light will flash enter 7 7 0 then # * and you have a bell only system

Which is virtually what I said before, isn't it?

What is the difference between you cancelling and *** cancelling, both take you back to 'bells only', don't they.

Reword your cancellation, tell them you only bells only, not signalling.

One thing though, I'm sure you will find that the actual 'signalling device' is not your property, it belongs to *** as does all signalling devices installed by, what shall I say, 'proper' alarm companies.

Remind him of this and get him to remove his companies equipment, the only reason it's not being done at the moment without a battle is that it will cost 'him' money to do it right ... good luck
