How do I repair my Ford Clutch pedal ?

My car over the past few weeks has been making a clunking sound when I depress the clutch.
Today there was a clunk and pedal went loose and I could not use pedal. When I looked I noticed that a piece of metal with a hole in it that fits onto pedal keeps moving to the left and pedal drops. I have used a plastic tie to get home, but what now. Car is Fiesta gia 54 plate.
