Nokia N96 power loss?

My Nokia N96 will not power on. it ruan out on saturday evening so i plugged it in over night as i always do then when i woke and went to put it on i felt it and found it was really hot plus when i tried to turn it on all that happened was that the white ring around the outside of the middle button lit up. dont really want to sent it to Nokia as i have alot of pictures on there that i dont want to loose. If anyone could help me i would really be greatful
