Mend Heating Faulty Valve

Hot water is heating all the time even when timmer is off?

Hot water seems to be heating and pump on all the time even when timmer is off! The only way to stop it seems to be to switch it off at its main switch. I wonder if its a faulty switch/valve that switches between hot water & heating.

Hope someone can advise, Thanks David Cumbria
