Briggs & Stratton Briggs & Stratton 287707 Garden Tools, Lawn Mowers Change Briggs Mower

Normally these machines have a sealed for life transmission. The manual gearboxes are lubricated by a semi fluid grease, the hydrostatic ones by hydraulic oil. In either case the lubricant is sealed in, and replacement is only required if they have been stripped for repair.
