Mend Miele Premier 300 Flashes Washing Machine

DRAIN BLOCKED LIGHT FLASHES ON Miele Premier 300 washing machine?

I have a Miele Premier 300 washing machine.
The light indicating "drain blocked" flashes after the wash cycle. When I do a separate run in new rinse and spin mode - the waste water is ejected, and the machine goes on spin the clothes.
But otherwise, the machine stops before the spin cycle.
How can I fix this problem?

on my premier novo is a small door front bottom left, have a bowl to hand open this door using a screwdriver / blunt knife to gently lever it. and catch the water from the tap. undo the large plug facing you by hand, unscrewing it anti clockwise and when it finally comes away you'll discover where all your hairbands and loose change disappeared to. wash the gunky mess off it and replace, then do it again in 3 years time
