Mend Sky Wont Turn Off Over

Sky won't, turn on off or over?

I had a problem with sky box stuck in standby, I rang sky and we did a system restore, this seemed to rectify the problem for about five mins, now it is on but it won't turn off, or change channels, the remote is working cause the light comes on when i push it.

hi wendy, ive had same probs, unplugg from mains 4 bout 3mins. then re-start by pushing sky button on hand set. this re set it without loss off your stored programs, good luck.
