my heater in my r reg fiesta only blows hot,any ideas?

hi nigel just wondering if you can help me.lol i have just had a look for the valve and there is nothing there?the two rubber pipes go into matal ones then back to rubber pipes.do you think the previous owner could have taken the valve out and bypassed it?thanks

Hi Mike, it will be the heater control valve failed, mounted under the bonnet at the back of the engine bay near the wiper motor/mechanism, easy DIY job! four pipes and an electrical connector, around £25 for the valve
