Mend Toyota Avalon 2000 Cd Changer Work

How can i get my in-dash cd changer to work again? 2000 toyota avalon?

My battery died and when I jumped it the cd changer made a "clunking" noise and I haven't been able to load or eject cd's. What is the major malfunction and what is a possible fix???
