opening controller box in a dx403?

Does anyone know how to access the controller circuit board in the dx403 dishlex dishwasher? is it in the door of the machine? and if so do i just undo al the screws in the back of the door to access it or does the front come off near the buttons, ive triewd to pull it off but looks like its glued on or something, there was another thread stating that it was easy to get at, well if i knew where it was i probably would be able to easily, can anyone offer any help? my problem is its not heating the water and i need to get to the circuit so i can solder the burnt out soldering point. thanks
, and i hate washing dishes

yeah if you undo the top 6 or so screws on the inside the button panet will lift out . however ours was donig the same ie not heating and crap wash and it was the control board and it seems to be a common fault in this machine. I had it fixed once (replaced control/computer panel by professional) and about 4 months later the power switch burnt out and not just a spark but a burn, burn. So now rather than risk life and limb I am replacing the dishwasher and seriously doubt it will be a Electrolux that will be the replacement. By the way it cost me $280 or so to get part replaced so 1/4 full price of machine is something else to concider.

It's a bit of an assumption...

"my problem is its not heating the water and i need to get to the circuit so i can solder the burnt out soldering point."

You are more likely to have a defective heating element.

But I'm just guessing.

Any electronics will be just behind the user controls at the top of the door. Wires going to the control board are unlikely to be soldered on. A failure to heat the water is unlikely to be due to a loose wire. The external cover for the top of the door is unlikely to be glued on.
