2 suggestions for you and a tip to prevent further problems.

First off pls call Sears at 1-800-4-MY-HOME and give them your model # to see if they is a repair tip on this.
This is actually a common problem with many frontloaders regardless of who made it.
What is happening is water is being trapped in the rubber door boot and rotting, creating the smell.

You can put dishwasher powder in the detergent dispensor
and run it through a hot wash.
The powder helps to clean all the crude out of the machine.
Also after your done using your machine leave the door slightly open to allow any trapped water to evaporate.
