My Nissan almera pulse air bag warning light keeps flasing?

Unplugged and replugged all connectors, followed the process and it worked perfectly. Light fixed.

i have 53 reg nissan almera pulse and the airbag warning light has been flashing since march. i phoned up nissan garage and they said it will cost me £70 just to diagnose the problem. i thought forget that! Until yesterday (now August, lol) i saw this post, so i thought i try it, OMG and it worked!! the light has stopped flashing, im so glad i found this site!!! many thanks :)

Works on an Almera 1.5 2004. Mine just started flashing for no reason and I thought I'd have to take it to a garage to be fixed but found this on the internet and only took 5 minutes to fix - saved me time and money - thanks!!

I have noticed that is a commonly unanswered question all over the web in all kinds of forums so here is the solution.

This should work on all Nissan vehicles 2005 to 2006, not sure about earlier, haven't tested it on anything older.

1. Turn the key from off to on.

2. Watch the airbag light closely. It will stay on for a few secs. and then as soon as it blinks off (the start of the flashing), turn the key off instantly.

3. Count to 5 (1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi . . . .)

4. Repeat steps 1-3 two more times until you have done the cycle three times.

5. Now turn the key on and watch the light. It will start blinking in a different, slower manner. This is diagnostic mode. You can watch this for a little while, no hurry.

6. Now turn the key off again, Count to 5 like in step 3 again, and turn back on. If the procedure worked, the air bag light will not be flashing.
