Mend Toyota Sequoia Brake

Brake light comming on?

i have a 2001 Toyota Sequoia. recently my emrgency brake light is comming on while i am driving. but the emergency brake is not on. i disconnected the emargency brake light swich to isolate the problem. now every time i put my foot on the brake pedal, the light comes on and when i lift my foot off the brake pedal, the light goes off. Any one knows what i should be doing?????

no it is the emergency brake light that is comming on. it seems to be comming on when the weather is extreamly cold. it seems like there is a short somewhere. but Where? I do not know?

Are you sure its the emergency brake light and not the ABS light ......or something is still seeing it on while moving
