Directions for installing a 2wd JD 279 transmission drive belt?
Need instructions on how to replace the transmission drive belt for a 2000 model LX 279 John Deere lawn tractor. The belts are under $30, but need to know if this is something an average shade tree mechanic should tackle or let the pros do it. Thanks!
