hot water but no heating?

i have a potterton kingfisher floorstanding boiler the hot water is fine but no central heating

This is usually a diverter valve fault...its an electrically operated valve that opens to allow hot water to pass into the radiator system. You can usually replace the power head without draining down - depending on the make.
