Hi can i tow a caravan with just one electric towing socket?
My car has only one towing socket on it,will i still be able to tow a caravan.What is the second socket for,is it just for the fridge or does it power somethink else aswell.
The second socket is indeed for powering such items as the fridge, and it also allows the caravan battery to be charged up from the towing vehicle - if fitted. You don't need it for just towing though, but do check all of the lights for correct operation before you set off.
