HOw do i open the case on my upright Fantom vacuumm?

I just faught with my vacuum and finally ....... success!!!
Open the cover on the lights. You will see a little indentation to the back of light cover. Lift it with a screwdriver. Under the light you will see a little screw on each one. If you have trouble, try to remove light. They do not screw, just turn slightly to left and it will pot out.
You can still remove cover with lights attached. Be careful not to break bulb. I used my PC screwdriver as it is very thin. The cover snaps on each side of the back. Once screws are removed, unsnap them and the cover comes of easily. If you want to fix fan belt, push the roller up from underside with your finger and it will pop out so you can clean or change belt. You can clean inside the roller by pulling both ends out. On my vacuum, the right side is the one that has the rod going through. Careful though a small piece of metal falls out the other end. Put them together by putting rod back in and through the little hole. It takes a little play. Then put small metal back on and then cover and your done!
