Mend Hyundai Accent 1.6 CRTD Lost Power Accelerator

hyundai accent 1.6 crtd?

My car lost all power today and when i pressed the accelerator the car hardly moved, i turned the engine off and then back on again and it started fine and i revved the engine and loads of black smoke came from the exhaust and then it has driven fine all day. Does anybody have any ideas please.
