Mend Change Fan Light

how do i change a fan to a light?

Ive got a ceiling fan in my living room and i want to change it to a ceiling light. How do i do that and how can i make sure that the light will hold in the ceiling. The light is quite heavy so will the ceiling be strong enough to take the weight?

1ST Make sure you take the main fuse out of the fuse box. Unscrew the ceiling light where you will see 3 wires. Disconect these and add the light to the matching colours. Screw the light up making sure it is secure to a main beam in the ceiling. This will hold the weight. Put the fuse back in. All done
