Admiral side by side fride freezer model no GC2224GEKB serial no 11975912JL?

My Admiral side by side fridge freezer is under two years old. Yesterday I noticed that the freezer wasnt making the usual sounds and the temperature had dropped. By this morning it is not working at all and seems to be in defrost mode. Is there anything I can do myself to fix the problem?
