I had a full service on my car Friday 20th march 09 in which they found a crack in my rear spring they fixed this for me which included replacing 2 new spark plugs but went on the motorway today and my car is misfiring I am not a happy bunny and I need to know if I can still drive the car or will it be causing more damage?and is there anything i can do or try or just best to take it back to the garage?
Thank You had my mechanic mate out last night seems they put two new spark plugs in left the 2 old ones because of rusting which the old ones couldnt compete with the two new spark plugs hence the misfiring. had a lot of trouble getting the spark plugs out one came out fine but the other broke took a lot of hard work from my mate but the thread was still in tact so worked out ok in the end. Take it straight back to the garage, it was running fine before they serviced it so, it most likely something they have'nt put back together properly and if was a full service all four sparkplugs should of been replaced as that is what is called for in the Ford service schedule!!
