Mend Dyson DC04 Upright Carpet

DC04 will not lock in upright position?

Dyson DC04 will not click into locked upright position. Having found a small plastic wheel (aka Upright Lock Wheel) on my carpet and clipped it into what I believe is the correct position, the problem persists. Anybody experienced similar problem?

its your forward lock where the valve carage is. it is on the left hand side it will be back. push the black button down and push it forward
