how to identify fan problems on a renault magane scenic r reg?
when driving the heating gets very hot unbearable in fact.
when stopped at lights etc engine still running it gets hotter.
when checking under bonnet the fan is not running.
got a mechanic to look at it and he left it running for an hour and said the fan came on.
