Why is my hotpoint dryer so loud?

Hotpoint dryer dries fine but is very loud. Any help?

Mine is too, hope you get an answer, I bought mine 2nd hand but it sounds like it wants to take off, its freestanding at the moment on hard floor am going to put some cardboard under to see if it makes any difference and will be under a worktop when we move, just cant see how this much noise is normal??
