Cuisinart 4 slice toaster CPT-180?

One of my push down handles fell off the toaster in one piece how can I get it to stay back in place?

Ours did also......... took it apart and the plastic holder for the handle had a crack in it. Tried to fix it by hot welding, but lasted only a short time. May be hard to find that opart on line.
