is it a daf 45? you need to check battery and starter connections, if all ok ,it might be corroded connection under front flap. raise front flap,remove centre cover [6x10mm screws].behind this you will find connectors,and poss find that the lower one [thick red wires ] is corroded,make good connection and try.
