Mend Dishwasher Dishes Spray Arms

Dishwasher still humming and not cleaned dishes ?

Although the end light show on my dishwasher, it is still humming and upon opening the dishes are wet and mostly uncleaned. In addition the tablet of cleaner is partly broken in the bottom of the machine, probably accounting for the dirty dishes! I have cleaned the spray arms and drains, any further suggestions?

Check the heating element - if that's failed it's a possible cause of your problem - run the hot programme with an empty machine and open the door half way through - water should be good and hot - if cold may explain undesolved tablet and will certainly explain no drying.

It is ok to open the door mid cycle - the machine will just pause.
