What Sat Nav?

After spending two and half hours around a town in France last year looking for a campsite we booked into I'm thinking Sat Nav.
The many sat navs on the market are somewhat confusing. I need advice after seeing a few with Europe maps only which is what I want but what do you look for when choosing one? (I'm looking at prices under £150) Although seeing so many on here faulty I might stick to my paper map. Do all have language selection.
