Mend Tefal FV9605 Pro Turbo Iron

pro express turbo material cover for cable receding?

The material cable cover for the wiring from the base of the iron to the back of the unit no longer covers the cable. There is about 12" at the iron end and 6" at the unit end where the black cables are uncovered. These get quite hot when the iron is in use.
