INSTALLING A 6006E STEREO AT HOME?

Can anyone help me to power and convert 240v to 12v with the same amperage as the ford 6006e 6cd changer stereo pls.I cant find the amperage for such stereo .Dont want to damage it.Can anyone recommend a good but not expensive convertor model .
i m in love with this stereo ,really would like to use it at home .
