Mend Kenmore 665 Dishwasher Not Draining

dishwasher not draining?

My Kenmore UltraWash QuietGuard No. 665 dishwasher is not draining properly, leaving a pool of water at the bottom of the dishwasher. The dishes have soap/water spots on them after cleaning. I have a feeling either the drain is clogged or the hose is clogged, but I don't know how to clear either one of them. I can get the first attachment off of the bottom, so that I can see a screen part, but I don't know how to get that off. Any suggestions?
