how can i fix bathroom tap in my odyssey 505, 2006?

we have discovered that our tap in the bathroon is leaking where it comes in to the work surface. not sure why but it meant on our last trip out at half term not being able to use pump to draw water even in ktchen taps as when pump on and taps switched on or off in the bathroom still leaking round base of the tap
