Mend Diverter Valve Water Flow Taps Heating

Diverter valve?

Would the diverter valve cause poor hot water flow to all taps.

The central heating is OK, but there is also a leak from the diverter valve onto the diverter valve motor.

no, hot water flow will not be affected however hot water temperature could, so im assuming we are talking about a combi boiler ? if we are talking about a normal vented system then you have cylinder/head issues but again the valve would not effect flow.
