need thumb screws for antique sconce?

I have a pair of antique brass sconces with glass shades held by thumb screws. I bought a package of different sized thumb screws but the thinest was a little bit too wide.

Where can I find brass thumb screws to fit an antique sconce

but you really need to determine the thread size. "A little bit too wide" is a little bit too vague.
