Mend Honeywell Accenta 6 Security System Control Panel

accenta 6 not working?

alarm suddenly went off and now my accenta 6 is showing the tamper light but will not respond to any keys being pressed. i've taken off the cover of the control panel and yet no alarm sounded although when i did that before i had to reset whole system. any ideas how to get this working again?
