Power Devil 4 Stroke petrol mower?

GG did you manage to get the mower fixed? I am having; what sounds like; the same problem. I did find a problem in the carp bowl, the needle attached to the float was stuck in the up position so not allowing fuel through. I thought I had it fixed and it happily continued till I filled one collection bag, but now it is doing the same as yours.

Pouring fuel directly into the carb will allow it to run for a period of time but then stops, maybe 30 secs?

It also won't start in anything but the 'start' position, moving it after it has started makes it cut out.

I was wondering if I had disturbed one of the levers controlling the carb, but I can't see how? ... I had been looking for a photo on the web to make sure its correct, but I can't find one.

hi put new plug and fuel in but will not start if put some fuel down carb it runs but not manualey hop you can help.

Sometimes i find when a mower does this like power devils and tecumsehs if u get it started and it dies after a few seconds, if u keep pumping the prime button to keep it running it sometimes sorts its self out.

Replace complete carb on these awful Chinese engines- that's if you can source one.

Hi Steray, fuel line is ok...air filter is like new ( took it out and let it breathe without the filter)..no probs - but the overchoking might be the answer.......I'm not sure about it though - can you advise further please..I've spent a good six hours on this today...drying the plug etc but cant see what else might be. When starting I have "Start " position, "fast" "slow" and stop...only fires on start. Thanks.

check the choke & air filter it's either over choked or cannot breath, also check the fuel line make sure theirs nothing obstruting the fuel line
