Further to question on Dishwasher FDW60G?

This Hotpoint machine displays led 6 flashing after a wash cycle, the water stayed cold and tablet not dissolved.
I understand the light means heater timeout, the heater is serviceable and the thermistor (ntc) has not come adrift.
Is the timer board faulty ?
