how can i change the barrel locks on a piago zip 125 ?

dawn if i was there i would do it for you.i chnged some the other day at work the seat lock is easy just get the seat up with a screwdriver by poking under using a torch at the back of the scoot and push the latch over use a torch or you will be struggling.the ignition barrel is another matter the best way doesnt always work a slide hammer is the tool you need is screws into the key hole and pulls out the barrel but sometimes the barrels breaks into 2 or 3 pieces,the real way to domit is to take off the front panel pull out the r clip that holds the back of the switch on then pull out the u shaped clip that sits in a gap in the steering lock barrel and then the key barrel will fall out with a pull using a scre in the key hole but there is also a small rubbery ring that hold it in place which also jams it in place.its not nice to do it even for me and i am a bike mechanic but its not a ll that bad either but you might struggle if you are not mechanically minded im afraid,all the same good luck with it.adam
