Hi, I went to put my handbrake on one day and it came right up and now it won't keep the car still, what could this be, we don't think it is the wire. Any suggetions??
exactly the same has happened to me let me know what it was and how much it cost :)

yep your cable has snapped, 4 cables involved here, best just replace them all.... cost about £100 supplied and fitted

it could have snapped.try looking under the car at the back wheels and you will see where the cable goes in.or the cable could be stretched i had this on my corsa van and had to get a new one.hope this helps you....
