Mend 1.4 45 Thermostat Temperature Fault

thermostat?

Where exactly is the thermostat on a 1.4 45, what is involved in changing it. my heater is blowing hot and cold, the temp guage is normal so i suspect a faulty thermostat.

There is nothing wrong with the engine thermostat if your temp. gauge is reading normal. The fault is with the heater.
Blockage? Air lock in heater circuit? Faulty heater temp. selector or water flow valve.
