we have a 70 series kenmore washer and it won't drain when it rolls over to the rinse cycle. It actually stops and won't go any further. Do you know what the problem is? It isn't clogged.
The hose line is clear.
With this kind of washer, if it goes dead before the drain/spin cycle, I would look into the lid switch. A faulty lid switch will give those signals. You can jumper the lid switch just to see if that is the problem. Make sure to unplug washer first.

pump could be had it need replacing or simply pump could just be blocked
