Mend Mini Pull Start

Are there timing marks on a mini moto?

I have just bought a new pull start but can't seem to get it to fire up. I am wondering if there are any timing marks that need to be aligned.

the only timing that you can adjust is the postition of the magneto on the woodruff key and it should be set in the right place providing the bolt is tight on the end of the crankshaft.uless it has come loose and sheared the woodruff key?there is no valve timing as it is a two stroke engine.
