i put a cassette tape on in my car and it sounds like the chickmunks as it ?

the speed of the cassette player is regulated by a rubber pinch wheel running on a drive pin from a fly wheel. your rubber wheel has a build up from the tape running through it. get yourself a cotton bud and some alcohol ie lighter fuel and clean the small rubber wheel.you should just be able to access this through the front flap.
