Part of what looks like a coil of some sort fell from my ford ka today. What is it likely to be and what will it cost to replace?
PS It looks as though it has fell from around the front drivers side wheel area. My dad had simply sat in the car when it happened....the engine was not even running. It looked quite rusted.
if its metal and about 12mm thick it is part of the coil spring before you drive it any further you need to get someone to check the area of the vehicle that it fell off from the coil spring can rip through the sidewall of the tyre and possibly cause a serious accident
